Position
Purpose:
The
Italian subsidiary is launching a new product (poker) and it is
looking for a new capable person who should contribute in managing
marketing campaigns on the customer base and support the rest of the
marketing team. This person contribution will be key in bringing
enthusiasm and skills to a very challenging environment.
The
role will be based in Milan. The person will be part of the
International team and work closely alongside several people in the
Milan office and in Betfair to coordinate several marketing
activities.
Key
Responsibilities / Duties:
Working
on direct communication campaign to customers online: web, email,
banners,… for both the ISB and the poker product
Defining
the offer of the products (SB and poker) together with the rest of
the team
Working
closely with the international team to implement marketing
activities including managing the development of creative.
liaising
and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g.
customers, suppliers and colleagues;
developing
advertising opportunities
managing
the production of marketing materials
evaluating
marketing campaigns;
monitoring
competitor activities;
contributing
to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies;
Supporting
the marketing manager and other colleagues.
Liaising
with existing and potential online and offline partners to help
develop successful marketing solutions
Key
Working Relationships:
Working
in a team with different know-how,
the candidate must have great communication skills
Liaising
with several departments within the Betfair structure
he/she will need to build long term and profitable internal
relationships

Specification
Experience
& Qualifications Required:
Ideally
candidates should be educated to degree level (ideally with a
marketing qualification) and have some experience in online
marketing.
Ideally
the candidate will have a track record of delivering marketing
programmes within a sport or betting environment
A
dynamic and energetic individual, you should possess innovative and
creative thinking. At the same time it is crucial to be able to work
in a start-up phase business as it is the Italian subsidiary at this
moment, with significant entrepreneurial thinking and initiative
Must
be able to speak the Italian language fluent and be prepared to live
in Milan.
The
individual must be a passionate sports fan and have an interest in
gaming
