Following significant investment in our
Retail and Online businesses we are actively recruiting a Brand Manager for
our Retail business. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager the role is
responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a brand
positioning strategy that delivers a differentiated and motivating customer
proposition.
Key accountabilities
- Develop and implement the ongoing customer experience and
brand alignment strategy to deliver the agreed brand positioning across key
customer touch-points
- Assist the Retail Marketing Manager in the development
and implementation of the annual marketing plans for the retail brand
- Assist the Retail Marketing Manager in the planning and
allocation of the retail marketing budget
- Lead the ongoing brand planning and activity briefing
processes to ensure the delivery of insight based, on-time and highly effective
marketing activity from the Marketing Services team
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with key
internal stakeholders to ensure execution of central and local plans for the retail
brand
- Joint responsibility for core agency and support supplier
management
- Monitor retail competitive activity and marketing trends
and implement opportunities that arise
- Maximise returns on the investment in ATL and BTL
campaigns
- Working closely with the Retail Product teams, develop
and implement an ongoing new product strategy that appeal to customers, are competitively
superior and drive retention and stake per slip metrics
- Work closely with the Online Brand Managers to maximise
all online / offline opportunities, thereby increasing cross channel customer
acquisition, development and retention
Essential / Desirable knowledge, skills and experience
- Proven track record of working with / developing a
recognised consumer brand
- Experience and understanding of developing / delivering a
customer experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrable experience of ‘below the line’ marketing
techniques
- Experience in the development of ‘above the line’
communication advantageous
- Affinity with sports and sports betting highly
advantageous
- Excellent commercial acumen with a focus on ROI
- Evidence of a strong customer focussed background
- Ability to develop and build strong working relationships
with internal and external stakeholders
- An interest in the gambling sector is advantageous but
the potential to be passionate about the product and experience is a necessity
The role can be based at either our Woking or Nottingham office. Candidates will need to spend on average 2 days a week in Nottingham.
