Following significant investment in our Retail and Online businesses we are actively recruiting a Local Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing the role is responsible for managing all requests for local marketing support from the Retail estate and providing quick, brand-aligned and cost effective local marketing campaigns.

Key accountabilities

• Build excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders, including retail employees

• Responsible for the management of preferred Local Marketing agency and suppliers

• Deliver all local marketing activity to time and on budget

• Reduce ineffective local marketing spend at club / shop / casino level

• Work closely with the Head of Retail Marketing Services to develop and maintain the local marketing portal, ensuring it is fit for purpose and in best order at all times

• Manage the communication of all local advertising requests in a robust and timely manner

• Provide accurate advertising briefs to the Offline Advertising Manager

• Manage the development of all bespoke marketing activity requests ensuring a consistent delivery to budget and timescales

• Assist the Retail Marketing team with any relevant administrative tasks

Essential / Desirable knowledge, skills and experience

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Knowledge / experience of developing marketing materials and campaigns

• Strong organisation skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at the same time

• Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and third party service providers

• Experience of working with marketing agencies in a marketing environment is preferable, but not essential

• Demonstrable knowledge of marketing parlance and of key marketing techniques / strategy

• Strong attention to detail

• Evidence of a strong customer focussed background

• Marketing degree (or equivalent) advantageous

• An interest in the gambling sector is advantageous but the potential to be passionate about the product and experience is a necessity

The role is based at our office in Nottingham city centre which is a 10 minute walk from Nottingham train station.
