Sports Trader (US Sports, horses and greyhounds etc)

Our client is searching for a sports trader will trade a wide variety of sporting markets including horseracing, US sports and golf. This a great opportunity for a flexible, ambitious individual who is seeking a career in risk or trading and has a huge passion for sports.  The post holder will be required to work regular night shifts .

Key Duties will include

•           Monitor betting markets and control risk throughout the night

•           Making trading decisions on bets offered.

•           Monitoring liability of all sports, horses and greyhounds

•           Create and settle betting markets

•           Assisting with client management

•           Trade overnight betting events (US sports, Golf and South American/Asian Football etc.)  

Skills and experience

•           Available to work full night shifts on a regular basis

•           Available to work in a small team or even on their own

•           Good knowledge of horse racing and the betting environment and bookmaking principles

•           Minimum 1 year experience in the bookmaking industry

•           Knowledgeable in fixed odds, arbitrage and betting exchanges

•           Strong numerical skills

•           Methodical and strong attention to detail

•           Flexible to work in a 24 hour operations working on a shift pattern.

•           Passionate about sports and betting
