Trading Solutions Analyst

We are looking for a sharp-minded person who has a real passion for sport and mathematics, and has an understanding of betting, its odds, and the market place. The Trading Solutions Analyst will be responsible for delivering robust calculations within an area of complex multi component distributed solutions. Your main duties will include: * Aiding development of highly efficient programs or platforms, based on mathematical models, to deliver prices for sports betting. * Include the development and creation of derivative markets based on statistical information and / or underlying values. * Delivery of complicated Trading platforms, from conception to integration. Ladbrokes is a world-leader in the global betting and gaming market, taking up to 10 million bets each week and £12 billion in stakes each year. The Trading Solutions Analyst role is the perfect opportunity for a bright and intelligent candidate to work for the Trading division of Ladbrokes. You will need to have a degree in a numerate discipline and general understanding of different mathematical theories and their concepts. Knowledge of statistics, mathematical methods and algorithms, to include probability, and monte carlo are a vital requirement. Bayesian inference, neural networks, linear algebra, and calculus are other desirable but non essential skills. Coding experience should include VBA, and C#, plus knowledge of C++, xml, html, java, sql, matlab & synstax. You will need to be very organised, have a structured approach to work and able to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to problems and challenges.
